On 18th of April I could send my third 9a - “Intermezzo XY gelöst” - at Plombergstein crag in Salzburg, Austria. It took me 4 days to complete this project. Although the route is very short and bouldery, there’s still a lot of variety in terms of holds and moves. It starts with a hard boulder problem (approximately 8a+) and continues on slopey pockets. After that there’s a traverse to the left and a tricky topout where you can still fall if you are not precise enough. It was a pleasure to try “Intermezzo XY gelöst” because I really liked the movements of the route.
